One of the larger rare breeds, with lop ears, mainly white and must carry at least one black spot. In past times it was associated with the thriving cheese-making and cider industry in the Severn Vale, hence the adopted name 'The Orchard Pig'. Often these pigs would be seen scavenging windfall apples in the orchards.
This is possibly the most popular of the rare breed pigs kept today.
