The only native breed left in Wales, now critically low in number, this white, lop eared pig is not dissimilar to the British lop.

With Landrace influence, this breed was improved to its commercial status.

It has sadly now declined as more vigorous hybrids take over.

However, it thrives under a wide range of conditions, both indoors and out giving it the ability to survive modern farming methods.
