This pig developed from two local breeds in the South-West of England, the Devon Lop and the Cornish White.The breed is believed to have ancestors from the now extinct Cumberland, Ulster and Glamorgan pigs.It is a pure white breed with distinctive lop ears, well developed hams and can grow to some size.Now one of the most endangered of rare breeds, with numbers critically low.
