Pronounced "Cooney Cooney" (translates as fat and  round), this pig originated from New Zealand, having been imported in 1992.

It is a placid, friendly pig, covered in hair rather than bristle, colours range through cream, ginger, black and spotted.

The most unusual feature is a pair of tassels called, piri piri,.

These pigs graze, and will live on grass alone during the summer months.
